Elk Ridge Middle School

We’ve been very happy with this school. My son has been on the honor roll every term at Elk Ridge and while he does have day to day homework it’s very manageable. I love that the school offers a math lab since he’s in honors math and sometimes needs extra help.

If i had the ability to send my child to a different school i would. The teachers are friendly and for the most part motivated, but with poor reinforcement from the administration, they are forced to deal with more problems then they should have to. Structure and discipline starts at the top, not in an individuals classroom that only sees a student for 45 minutes a day.

The principle is amazing and I’ve seen my daughter grow academically and in responsibility. She has had a great experience at Elk Ridge.

I was impressed with the staff at Elk Ridge. Everyone from the VP to the lunch staff cared about my son. Learning was fun for him. We are blessed that our son was able to attend this school.

This is a great school for us. I am amazed at the quality of the new principle. The principle goes out and talks with the kids. He seemed concerned in creating a positive environment and improving teachers. The teachers overall do a good job. Every year the school puts on a musical. This year (2015) it was one of the best school performances I have ever seen.
