Read what parents are saying about Upland Terrace SchoolUpland Terrace is a fantastic school. Excellent teachers and families who value education. Academics are demanding and teachers work well with students and families. Upland offers many activities: Hands on Science, Art Specialist through BTS, before school orchestra and band programs, a school musical with over 200 kids participating, 1:1 Chromebooks, Smart boards, etc. The PTA is strong and offers fun family activities all year long that build community and raise money to support learning (fun run, carnival, dads and donuts, art night, etc.). Each grade level has special field trips and learning activities going on each year (Colonial Days, Science Fair, Courageous Americans, Rendezvous, etc.). Field trips include skiing, snowshoeing, museums, Great Salt Lake, Zoo, Nature center, etc. The school is going to offer after school programming next fall and hopes to offer extended day kindergarten next year if there is enough interest. The other great thing is that it is the only elementary feeder into top notch Wasatch Jr and Skyline High School.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSad that my 5th grader got left behind & passed over even through he excelled in prior years. He got the teacher that should be retired by now. Failed to teach him. Failed to have a classroom that safely promoted & compels learning. He was quite miserable on many days and I'm up in the night in deep concern. Can't sit with my child at lunch anymore. Simply making it the parents fault or his fault is unacceptable. He was only tardy one day, missed a few days, but that's not enough to claim that he didn't study hard enough.Parent Review1y ago - Eastwood School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter leaving a private school and totally disappointed with the elitism, teaching coming and going and curriculum reinvented every year, we went to our local public school and are flabbergasted how better everything is. MY gosh, why did we waste all that money and our boys bored to tears! Here, teachers are qualified, administrators know what they are doing and the kids are so kind to our boys. Our sons at the private school did 2-4 pages of math a day, here, 6-10 pages and they have orchestra, chess club, and lego club as well. Why didn't we leave the private school years ago? Thank goodness our kids are thriving and don't miss anything about their former school. So grateful that this is our home school!Parent Review4y ago - Howard R Driggs School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Reid School from Kindergarten to 8th grade and had an amazing experience. I was challenged and I attribute my success to the Reid School. This school pushed me to my academic limits and I wouldn’t have it any other way.Other Review10mo ago - Elizabeth Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Elizabeth Academy for three years (3rd-5th) and have had an outstanding experience. The entire team works incredibly hard to create an interesting experience for the kids that engaging them in ways that speaks to their learning styles and interests. The school has lots of fun classes, outings, field trips too. Our absolute favorite part of school is in the teachers. We were able to keep in close touch with the teachers through the three years we were there about any number of issues (social-emotional, learning) and were able to establish the dialogue that allowed us to feel like partners with the teachers.Parent Review1y ago
