Posted by a parent on 11/29/2022HMS is an awesome place to work, and the staff is incredible. One of the teachers, Mr. Wagner, was just named the Texas Teacher of the Year for 2013! Heritage has some incredible academic programs, and some equally as good extracurriculars. The athletic department boasts several city championships, and the bands and choirs are absolutely top notch! I love teaching at Heritage!
Posted by a teacher on 7/3/2013This school and staff is amazing! I have a 6th grader and she loves all her teachers. The students are respectful and friendly. If you are looking fo a great middle school enviroment for your child, or are new to the Lubbock area, I HIGHLY recommend the Frenship district and more specifically Heritage Middle School. My child also attended Oak Ridge Elementary and loved it there too. We are sadly having to relocate to another town. The new school will have some BIG shoes to fill!
Posted by a parent on 1/21/2013Both of my kids attend Heritage. The administration is outstanding, the teaching staff goes above and beyond. I wouldn't have them in any other school! They are in 6th and 7th grades.

There were subs for most of the year and then the permanent teacher, when I met her, I was leery. She had on a low-cut top and I could see the tattoos on her way down her chest. Highly inappropriate.
