Read what parents are saying about Saginaw High SchoolOverall I think the school is great. I think parents need to be more involved, I would like to see more discipline, but that’s with any public school.
Posted by a parent on 10/17/2023My daughter was threatened to get shot by a student there. It was a horrible experience trying to keep her safe. The principal, assistant principal and cheerleading coach gossiped about it. They allowed the student that threatened, to graduate. We had no knowledge of this until my daughter saw him on graduation day. She was terrified the entire time especially with him and his friends taunting her. After the ceremony I addressed this with principal Weber. She said she was keeping an eye out the entire time. This just means that she saw my daughters surprise and fear and was enjoying the show. This school is disgusting!!!! They don’t care about safety and probably encourage the violence.
Posted by a parent on 8/10/2023Very unsafe learning environment, fighting to rioting levels in cafeteria and hallsThey just don't care about safety at all!!
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2022There are fights at least once a week, there's always bugs everywhere, the teachers are insensitive, and the sports teams suck. I don't feel safe at this school half of the time, and the other half I'm just genuinely not enjoying being here.
Posted by a student on 8/30/2022Our son is just finishing up his freshman year. The education he is receiving at Saginaw High has by far surpassed our expectations. He is an AP student who plans to continue his education in the aeronautical engineering field. He is receiving quality education in his engineering class and all other he is enrolled in. Marching band has also been such a positive activity in his life, meeting wonderful friends who share common goals of achieving excellence and preparation for college and future. We recommend Saginaw High to anyone, our two other children are following suit as PACE and Pre-AP students as well.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my child's teachers went above and beyond their duty to enlighten, educate and assist the children's growth. I noted this not only on an academic level, but also on a social level. The communication was excellent and my child flourished in courses that she did not at other schools. My child loved her teachers and looked forward to learning and going to school. Great experience so far x 2.5 years here.Parent Review1y ago - Northbrook Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the 10 years we have had children at Northbrook we have had nothing but positive things to say. All of our children have or are currently attending Northbrook. Our first child is now a freshman, A student, a member of honor society, varsity band and is in all AP courses. Our second son is a fifth grader and following suit. He is also an A student and is in the gifted program (PACE). Our third son is in first grade and is at the top of his class following in the footsteps of his brothers. We have had such a positive experience through all of these years and our children are thriving academically because of the amazing faculty and staff at Northbrook. We would choose this school without a question over and over again. Don’t let the ratings fool you, this school has phenomenal teachers. Our boys are proof of the readiness for higher education that Northbrook provides. Bravo!Parent Review5y ago - North Riverside Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school overall! Very involved in helping the kids learn and find their best way of learning. Parents are always aware of what students are learning with weekly newsletters from their teacher and school district as a whole. Love the way everyone gets along. I have a kinder student here and she has really learned a lot and is thriving. Her teacher Miss Nieves is awesome and loves her kiddos in the class! So excited to have my 3 year old join when she is of age.Parent Review2y ago
