Read what parents are saying about Bear Branch J High SchoolThis school never seize to amaze me by how much trouble they cause all because they can't do there job. I have to always correct them on what goes on but they never has evidence or videos to show when my daughter gets bullied. If Camaras are on the bus why don't they work when I need to see my daughter getting bullied by boys taking videos of my daughter then sending them to there friend in school. This is the loop hole they use to protect the school. If you are going through anything related to this, let's make a different and write a review. My kids should not be afraid to go to school.
Posted by a parent on 1/30/2024Fabulous principal and teachers. Love the independence they foster in the kids once they start attending.
Posted by a parent on 12/22/2023This is school is a horrible school. this school had made my daughter depressed. if i could rate this a -10 i would. she even had to start going to therapy. I don’t even have words to describe this school. They have horrible teachers and they don’t teach the kids enough about bullying. it’s sad and i don’t want other kids to end up in this school. i don’t recommend going to this school.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCompletely awful. This school has been a nightmare since the first grade when they very much tried to tell me to put my child on medication. My son loves his school and has consistently begged me to keep him enrolled there so I have tried really hard to make it work for his sake but these administrators have no idea how to handle a child that is not a little sheep. They have no idea how to handle a child who has a hard time sitting still for long periods of time. Their answer is medication so clearly they have not done any research on the effects that have been found on medicating children with drugs that are equal to methamphetamine. Do not take your child here unless he or she is perfect and can sit in the classroom perfectly and never challenge authority or stick up for themselves. This school is awful. It also smells horrible and I have seen cockroaches in the hallways and lunchroom but they must be too busy making sure the children are conforming to notice.Parent Review5y ago - Buckalew Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree with the other comments. If your child has a disability please run for the hills. This place was horrible from the first day that my child started. They will write your child up for EVERYTHING. My child previously attended a school in the woodlands that was AMAZING but was only a pre-k. They worked with my child and his disability. We were instantly treated poorly as soon as we walked into Buckalew. We are also Black which has been the icing on the cake here. If your child has a disability or is of color DO NOT COME HERE.Parent Review2y ago - Tough Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCoulsen Tough is a wonderful, loving, and supportive school for children of all types. From gifted to kids who need extra help or special education, the teachers and staff here are capable, competent, responsive, fair, kind, and willing to help. They seem happy to come to work and the kids seem happy to be there. There are many opportunities but not pressure for parents to get involved.Parent Review7mo ago - Deretchin Elementary School
