Read what parents are saying about Trinity Lakes Elementary SchoolEspecially with these new lockdown procedures, the school is using complicated online programs for eight year olds. The students require constant adult supervision and prompting in order to basically navigate the class curriculum. It is significantly less effective than simply homeschooling your children.
Posted by a parent on 8/24/2020I would leave this at a five - there's so much room for improvement in communication between parents and teachers regarding instruction methods
Posted by a parent on 6/19/2018The communication level between teachers and parents is horrible. Same thing with the principal. No one emails, calls or texts to let you know if there is a problem with grades. My 5th grader will not be attending this school next year.
Posted by a parent on 3/23/2016Aside from a few resentful uninvolved parents, this school is excellent!!! But most parents realize it's a partnership between the teachers, parents, and students that helps make students successful. The kids are made college ready and they are given great academic, goal setting, and planning skills. Could the community get more involved? Absolutely! But I've watched this school and teaching staff stay late tutoring, giving extra time to work with parent's schedules, and work miracles with difficult struggling student for over 15 years. I am proud to say my son is college bound, prepared, and a product of West Hurst Elementary where he spent 6 years building a phenomenal foundation for his continuing education!!!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat elementary school for my soon to be 8 year old so far. She was welcomed into the after school program on the first day of registration which is a blessing. She informed me that she made friends at the school and students at this school have been nice as well as teachers. School is close to home which makes it convenient to drop off and pick up. After school program teachers are great as well. Two staff members in the front office are very helpful, nice and also do give great feedback if your asking them and makes you feel welcomed which I loved. The school does offer family activities and send out information to parents. They are here to help our little students learn and achieve greatness.Parent Review1y ago - Bellaire Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my kids attended Donna Park, and even today every time we pass by they say, "Oh, I miss Donna Park." They loved it there, and I really enjoyed the teachers, after-school care, and various events including a multicultural night. The teachers would contact me whenever they felt the kids were having trouble and were eager to consult with me on how to help. The counselor helped my daughter, and the gifted and talented teachers are still the kids' favorites.Parent Review3y ago - Harrison Lane Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was probably one of the best elementary schools I've EVER been to. I've been to 5 or 6 throughout my whole life and yet, within a year I would call this school one of the best. I'm going to junior high in 2 or so months, and I'm glad I got to spend my final year of elementary here. I'd definitely send my child here, that's if I had one of course.Other Review10mo ago - River Trails Elementary School
