Horizon Heights Elementary School

Both of my children attend and I cannot say enough about this school. I volunteer frequently here and one thing I've noticed is that only commitment to the profession of molding children is accepted by the staff. I feel anyone who would work at this school with the attitude that it is a job would be hard pressed to remain as a member of the staff. I am a 24 year Army vet whom also has adult children and I can say that after dealing with a lot of schools in a lot of states, this is by far, along side DOD's schools the best.

Had the worst experience with the front office staff. They are unfriendly and unwilling to give thorough explanations. First experience in SISD and not very pleased. Visited other campuses and everyone seemed happy to be at work serving the community!
