Marine Creek Collegiate High School

The front desk ladies are VERY rude. The way they treat the children is awful. I personally witnessed the lady at the front desk tell a child to sit on the floor and that he lost his chair privileges just because he got up out of his seat. He was not around anyone, nor bothering anyone. Everyone in the front office was talking, but the sending the child made a peep she yelled at him and told him to “keep his mouth shut”. When you call up there they blow you off and try to get you off the phone as fast as possible. The teachers are not any better. Over all i have yet to hear good things about this school. STAY AWAY!!

This is an amazing example of a neighborhood school. Joy James Academy is part of the Leader in Me community. Students have a voice and are true leaders within the school and community. Parents, teachers and community members work together as a team!

Great school overall! Very involved in helping the kids learn and find their best way of learning. Parents are always aware of what students are learning with weekly newsletters from their teacher and school district as a whole. Love the way everyone gets along. I have a kinder student here and she has really learned a lot and is thriving. Her teacher Miss Nieves is awesome and loves her kiddos in the class! So excited to have my 3 year old join when she is of age.
