Henry W Longfellow Career Explorat

This is a really great school. It has issues, like any school, but on the whole my kids like it. The teachers are great and work really hard for the kids to help them be successful. They have lots of fun opportunities and activities outside of typical classroom learning. I haven't interacted with or encountered the principal, but the assistant principal has been really helpful with some issues my child had and has been quick to respond to my questions. This school is a great place to send your student, especially if you want them to attend a magnet high school.

I have paid in full ($360) since summer before the school year and it is now almost November 2018. My daughter has not received her uniforms and jacket with the weather being cold now. My daughter walks around as if she doesn't even belong there and all the administration can do is blame the vendor THEY chose and blame each other for not being up to academy standards. It is a poor excuse, a shame, and a embarrassment to have my top grade child attend this school where the food even represents who runs this place. Please fix the problem for the future students and my child NOW! Feed them more nutritious food instead of tater tots and tamales for breakfast. STOP BEING LAZY!

10/10 best experience I've had in a middle school

Both of my girls have attended this school and it has been a great experience. I love the teachers and the our new Principal Ms. Mays.

I hear this school was great for their academics and was convinced to bring my child in. But after my child went on to the next level after 6th grade, my child had poor grades and a low self esteem. My child has been telling me that her principal is very disorganized and has no leadership to run this school. I believe it was true, when I took her to school on the awards day, she was already in trouble for her dress that was said to be EXACTLY not professional. Unlike her, all the other girls were dress in sleeveless tight dresses that shouldn't be appropriate. I believe this principal has no fairness to the majority of the school. My daughter was crying badly believing that she was worthless for trying to look nice for her last year of Longfellow. This school isn't as great as I heard it would be. I give this school a 2-star rating
