Read what parents are saying about Alice Johnson J High SchoolSay Napoleon didn't dismantle the H.R.E. How would Europe look today. The German Empire never would've formed, and so the alliances that sparked WWI wouldn't have occured. This means no WWII and no Russian Revolution, or if there was one it would be crushed quickly, by foreign intervention. This alone makes a better world as communism never becomes a huge ideology. It would die out like syndicalism. Fascism would never rise in Italy due to the lack of a world war, and so it wouldn't spread to Germany and Japan would likely still be a power in the east.
Posted by a community member on 11/4/2021I wish I could give this school a negative score. My boys attended this school in the mid 90s and it was awful then. Now my grandson is enrolled and thankfully he will only be attending for the last few weeks of the school year and will never step foot in that place again. The front office staff is rude, ill informed, and knows nothing about legal paperwork. I did inform them that my main concern was my grandchild's safety and they tried to assure me that he is safe while on campus. I laughed at them. The school is overcrowded and the teachers always turn a blind eye to any issue of safety. This school has never been safe and the teachers have always been worthless, rude, lazy and completely useless when it comes to the kids. Even if you have to homeschool or move or whatever DONT EVER LET YOUR CHILD STEP FOOT IN THIS SCHOOL. Your child will not be educated and will be in constant danger. Kids with knives, box cutters, and other weapons running around like its a prison yard without anyone doing anything about it. And you can forget about any teacher child interaction in the classroom.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell, the principal made my child cry at open house because they had all the kids in the same room, my kindergarten son saw his best friend and wanted to play the games they were playing. The principal made my son burst into tears saying he couldnt play with his best friend because those games were only for ymca after school program. Who puts a bunch of games and toys out during a pta/open house and thinks it's okay to yell at children because they want to join in too? The Pta meeting was a joke, like ten parents were there. I love my son's teacher, but everything about the school is kind of ghetto. We moved and my son now goes to a different school in the Deer Park school district and the difference is like night and day. He is actually happy to go to school and is doing fantastic. This school is a joke, they also screamed at my husband saying he couldn't come inside on father take your son to school day. Worst school ever. The principal needs to be fired. And my son already knows all they are teaching him. Run away from this school, plus more than half of the children are limited in English and they also have low test scores. So happy we got a better house and can send my son to a school that cares and does not exclude children or make them cry/yell at them.Parent Review6y ago - Sam Houston Elementary School

I love that the teachers are truly dedicated and truly care for their students. Teachers and staff are always going the extra mile to ensure the students have what they need to succeed. I have no complaints or regrets. We love it here!!!Parent Review3y ago
