Read what parents are saying about M L King Middle SchoolMy daughter went to school for a school year and an overall bad experience. Disorganized and some of the office staff is very RUDE. Currently I am trying to enroll my grandson and same horrible experience, I will just homeschool him.
Posted by a parent on 8/18/2020On A Scale Of 1-10, I Rate My Experience With This School A( 1), I Rate BISD A(1) Last Year In Beaumont TX Because Of It's Below Average In The State School District. They Are Bus-ing My Child Way Across Town When There Is A School Very Close To Where I Live Can Get To Him If Needed, And On Top Of That In My Opinion, At The Top The Worst School, Middle School In The District. Now On My Way Up There To This School.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm at teacher at Ehrhart and love it here. The leadership emphasizes caring for the students along with educating them. The classes are smaller than BISD schools so it helps me focus on students who need the additional assistance. I noticed that the Academics/Test Scores section was rated 4/10. It is based on old information (3-4 yrs old). Ehrhart averages higher scores than the schools in southeast Texas (Region 5)...as of the 2016-2017 school year.Parent Review6y ago - Fletcher Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor my wife and me, Fletcher School has been like an "oasis in the desert." The dedication that the teachers have to do their jobs has meant that children have an exceptional performance. With pride and work achieved national Blue Ribbon distinction and maintains the level of Excellence in the school district and state levels. The work currently carried out, both the principal and teachers, just the goal of achieving the "best of the best". Very good school and excellent staff.Parent Review12y ago - Pietzsch/Mac Arthur Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter though 5years old was reading on middle of first grade when I enrolled her here. I really thought she would be challenged in a Christian environment. Wrong! During class all she did was color, watch movies, play on the playground and take naps. I removed her 2months later. A parent who thought I was over reacting shared that her son is still doing what they did the first week of school. When I asked to see the lesson plan, they acted as though I needed a signature from president Obama. I never saw a lesson plan and months later I am still fighting for consumable workbooks purchased via the curriculum fee. For all the money parents pay this school should do better. The only reason they are still around is because people who don't want their children in public school pay the money. However, my daughter was reading when she got there and she knows many concepts for core subjects because I teach her at home. I surely was not going to allow her to go backwards all because her teacher was not trained to differentiate instruction. Oh and after care is a joke. The children watch Nickelodeon. I don't allow my child to watch that at home and furthermore why aren't you doing something constructive with them? Do not put your child here. Waste of money.Parent Review7y ago - St. Anne Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 sons that attend St. Anne Catholic School. This is our sixth year and we have been very pleased. The number one reason I love the school is that they focus on developing the whole child. They provide a quality education while also teaching Christian values that are based in truth. Aside from academics and religion, the school offers countless service opportunities to the children that are age appropriate. Last year, St. Anne Church donated a piece of property that is now called, "The Giving Field." It is an amazing project that the students at the school are allowed to participate in. It currently provides fruits, vegetables and fresh eggs to the less fortunate citizens in are area. My 5th grader was able to spend an hour last week with his entire class digging up over 300 lbs. of sweet potatoes that they had planted a year ago in 4th grade. It was an amazing sight watching those kids harvest what they had planted and know that they were helping others. Their is also a very strong sense of community. My boys have always felt "known" by all the teachers and administrators and they feel very secure. I would highly recommend St. Anne Catholic School - we love it!!!Parent Review10y ago - Our Mother Of Mercy Catholic School
