Read what parents are saying about St. Mary's Episcopal Schoolthe academics are decent, food is awful, the majority of people are kind but there are some without good character. it’s also greatly lacking in diversity.

Posted by a community member on 8/3/2015St. Mary's is the BEST school in the Memphis area. Additionally, it is one of the top schools in the country. St. Mary's produces strong, intelligent women who are educated in every aspect of their lives. Girls leave this school with a sense of accomplishment, confidence, and pride that prepares them to take on the rigors of college and life! A St. Mary's girl is able to take on any challenge head-on and succeed in whatever endeavor she encounters! The tuition is very high, and sacrifices may be necessary. However, the school has a generous financial aid budget, with approximately 20% of the families receiving some sort of assistance. The environment is much friendlier than some of the other private schools in the area, and education and your daughter are the primary focus. Not networking and social climbing! Trust me, a St. Mary's education is well worth the investment.
Posted by a parent on 2/2/2014my granddaughter has been a student at St. Mary's since pre-kindergarden and she is now in the 9th grade. I can't image that she could find a school where she would be happier or more challenged. The level of education astounds me, the teacher awareness and understanding of their students as individuals is incredible. Memphis is so lucky to have St. Marys.
Posted by a community member on 11/7/2011St. Mary's is the best school a girl (or young woman) can attend in Memphis. Academically rigorous with amazing extra-curriculars, St. Mary's provides a nurturing environment for its ~50 girls per grade. The facilities are amazing, and the grads go on to the Ivies, Stanford, as well as the best schools across the South. As an alumna from the 90s who went on to the Ivies, I can tell you that I am still grateful for the wonderful education I received there.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had a wonderful experience at St. Agnes Academy- St. Dominic School. Our son is in his fourth year at the school and our daughter started this year. The sense of community has been a huge blessing to us. It is so comforting to know that our children are loved and cared for physically, mentally and spiritually. The school does a great job of connecting students of different ages and allowing them to learn from and support each other. Also, the student to teacher ratio provides an individualized approach to learning while in a group setting. It is such a unique school setting where we are able to have both our son and daughter on the same campus while catering to their different educational needs. Providing a coed experience and then strategically separating to all boys/all girls at pivotal times is one of the many factors that sets SAA-SDS apart. We love SAA-SDS and are excited to see what the future has to offer and how it is shaping our children into successful and well-rounded individuals.Parent Review1y ago - Christ Methodist Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen it comes to cleanliness I’ll give it a 2 out of 10 . Teachers and Assistant Teachers let students EAT in the classrooms throughout the day it seems like they can’t even so much as pull the chairs up on the table for the people who comes and clean the school. THERE SHOULD BE A NO EATING POLICY INSIDE THE CLASSROOMS because like why is the cafe open if the rooms look exactly like the cafeteria and it’s way more to say but I’ll hold itOther Review1y ago - Margolin Hebrew Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the absolute pleasure of speaking at this school in 2023. I was so impressed by their passion and commitment to really going above and beyond to serve their students. Specifically, I was there to speak to the girls about healthy relationships and mental health. The organizers turned it into a mother-daughter breakfast, which made it even more impactful. I would be thrilled to return to this school and this community any time!Other Review3mo ago - Barbara K. Lipman Early Learning & Research Center at the Un
