Read what parents are saying about Hollis F. Price Middle College High SchoolI am a retired educator in Memphis and this school is truly a blessing to have in the innercity area during a time of uncertainty and merging of education districts in this area of Tennessee. I know some of the staff and administration @ Hollis F. Price and have followed it since it was born. Kudos to the students, faculty and staff at this great school in this criticat time. Posted by a community member on 1/9/2013I am a parent of a student that attends Hollis F Price. I love the whole concept and the advantages that this school offer. The principal, counselor and some of the teachers are great. I am not pleased with the treatment that some of the students receive from the office staff. There seem to be a misunderstanding of their roles in the school. Its hard enough for kids to manage their academics and social life but to experience direct bullying from adults that have no absolute role in their studies is unnecessary. They demand respect but don't know how to show respect. I would strongly suggest that they receive a reminder or even a name tag of their job and follow the protocol. Sadly it was not a shock to hear from prior students how badly they were treated that they had to transfer or simply put up with the treatment until graduation.
Posted by a parent on 12/2/2012I am a rising senior at Hollis F. Price and though we aren't a traditional high school with sports and what not, we're one of the best in the COUNTRY! I'm very blessed to have the opportunity of being a student here for the past 4 years.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is school is in total disarray! My daughter attended this school for 2 years and in this time I saw things I should never see within school walls the teachers are only dedicated to students they "like" and many other students fall by the way side. My daughter struggled socially in this school which she has never done. The principal was obsessed with apperances. Tuition is inflated and the quality of education in this school is poor. If possible please take your little angels someplace else.Parent Review9y ago - Cummings Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was hired to be the bqnd director but on day one was told the posistion was for general music and got push back when I brought up the posistion information that stated they were hiring for a band director. They said they want a band but need to get kids interested in it first before developing the program so wanted a general music teacher instead. The school is also disserving students because they do not have sped resources for the overwhelming majority of students who require more assistance than they can get from a normal classroom. Students at this school are not held accountable for their behavior which is reflected in their test scores because the majority of the time they are running the halls and vandalising school property along with disrupting other teachers classrooms. The administration has the attitude that puts students at risk later in life because they are not developing a sense of accountability to do the right thing on theirbown without coxing. Being rewarded in food and candy for just going into a classroom most days.Other Review1y ago - Larose Elementary School
