Read what parents are saying about Pearre Creek Elementary SchoolHad high hopes for the neighborhood school, the facilities are beautiful- but left disappointed with teachers and administration. Child was behind benchmarks even with straight A’s. Mental health wasn’t addressed. Teacher was never for our child. So much happier after leaving, and is now thriving at a nearby private school. Looks forward to school, nice kids and engaging learning every day after a year of dreading school at PCES.
Posted by a parent on 11/2/2022We have had an outstanding experience at Pearre Creek over two years thus far. Our child's teachers have been attentive, communicative, and caring. We regularly receive notes in his backpack about progress, things to focus on at home, and achievements to celebrate. Starting in kindergarten, kids are assigned Chromebooks to use and take home. Test scores are at near the highest level in the state. There is a great, supporting community of families that care deeply about the school and financially support it as well.
Posted by a parent on 8/25/2022Compared to other schools in the area, starting in kindergarten, the students are challenged daily. They bring home books every day, spelling tests every week, multiple oral presentations throughout the school year, etc. Many students in my child’s class have mastered 500 sight words and are reading at a 2nd grade level.

There curriculum is great and teach amazing things that all schools need to do. Everything the school does is awesome and fun from the field trips and activities to the devotions and class time. The teachers and administrators are loving and supportive. The school has a great sense of community, which was a wonderful way for us to meet and connect with others when we moved from out of state. There is a lot of nepotism in their hiring practices. There is no financial transparency with the monies given for building projects. They announce that they have reached their goals but then quickly say they need more money to finish projects. Where is the money going? Board does not consist of educators or a single woman. We witnessed some concerning coaching practices in the athletics department. Ask hard questions and be fully aware before deciding to send your child to this school.Parent Review2mo ago
