Read what parents are saying about Trinity Classical AcademyMy son has attended TCA since 1st grade and he absolutely loves it there. I feel completely safe sending him to school, which says a lot during the times we're living in. He's now in 4th grade and is learning things that my friend's 6th grade child is learning in public school. He's excited every morning to get up and go to school and his classmates have become more like family than friends to him. He's been fortunate enough to have the same teacher 2 years in a row (she moved up a grade with the kids) and she is absolutely phenomenal. I wish she could teach him every year. I really can't say enough good things about all the teachers and staff. They go above and beyond for their students. They are quick to respond to emails and the lines of communication are always open. I feel like they truly love each and every student at TCA and want them to succeed. I do hope that they add on high school grades because I can't imagine leaving our TCA family.
Posted by a parent on 2/11/2023My grandchildren have been at TCA for two years. They are very content and so happy at school! Their curriculum is outstanding. They are able to participate in special areas ; music, art, language, and chapel to grow their faith. Smaller classes enable strong interaction between the student and teacher . I would highly recommend this program!
Posted by a community member on 10/16/2022Our families overall experience has been excellent! The school has gone through a few transitions but it all for the good of the school. One of the parents commented on this site about the the school not being accredited. As an educator myself I know that accredited private schools are held to certain standards developed by the accreditation organization of their choice. Here's the question.... are the standards developed by the accreditation organization grade level appropriate, do the standards include accommodations for students with learning disabilities, are the standards based on a timeline, what if a teacher needs to rush through a certain unit because it must be mastered by a certain date even though half the students in class haven't retained the information. To the parent who commented: So yes, TCA is not accredited. So what!!!! Do you have any idea what it cost a school to become accredited?? If my child is receiving a rigors education by loving and nurturing qualified teachers who's goals are to help students not only learn (one grade level above I might add) and have great character, but to also feel successful and maintain confidence in themselves then by George TCA has done their job!!
Posted by a parent on 8/17/2019In my opinion TCA is one of the best kept educational secret in Summerville! The administration, teachers, and staff do an excellent job of providing their students with love and compassion in an academically rigors atmosphere. If you would like for your children to experience a wonderful education in a small classroom setting with no distractions, then TCA is the place for them!
Posted by a parent on 7/24/2018My child has been at TAC for many years and we have had a wonderful experience. My child has friends, is happy to go to school, and is challenged academically.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe is THE GREATEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL any of my children have ever been to! They take pride in their students And their families. I’ve never felt more support when it comes to my child than I have at SES. Mrs. Barker is an outstanding principal who goes above and beyond for all kiddos. My sons 4K and Kindergarten teachers were heaven sent! Waylon wouldn’t be where he is at today academically and socially if it weren’t for Ms. Mizell, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Fogle and Ms. Barnard!!! Having a child with severe ADHD and not medicating him means he will need someone with a big heart and a lot of patience to help him thrive. He got just that. They want him to succeed just as much as I do and that means the whole world to us. The fact that they didn’t push me to start him on meds also meant so much. My boy is thriving because of his school. We are a PROUD SEA TURTLE FAMILY!Parent Review1y ago - James H. Spann Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children that attend Newington, my oldest child who has been there since K and currently is in 2nd there, and my younger one who just started K! They both love it! I could count on one hand the days where I have to actually “make” them want to get up and go to school, and it’s usually because they would rather stay curled up in their bed- and not because they don’t like their class/school.The teachers they have/had have been amazing (especially dealing with all the COVID, quarantine and virtual learning situations that have been thrown at them- with no or very little guidance on how to proceed or how to handle) even when one of their teachers got sick (unsure if it was COVID related or not) she was still on virtual the week they all were on virtual at home, you could tell she didn’t feel good, and had to take a few breaks but she pushed thru it and finished the week and taught what she had to get done for that week! Neither of my kids have ever mentioned themselves or anyone being bullied or getting picked on!My 2nd grader is reading way ahead of where he should be (I believe it’s 4th grade DRA numbers) has been doing multiplication/division since first grade- at home in his free time, he asks for hard words to spell, hard math questions to do, and extra long numbers to read out loud for fun!! I’m hoping he tested well enough to go into GATE next year! He was lucky enough that his K teacher moved to 1st along with him so we had the same GREAT teacher 2 years in a row! Unfortunately she moved upstate so my younger son won’t get the chance to have her, but his teacher and her assistant this year are just as great!! They have patience with their students I could only dream of having one day!! I was for sure my youngest was going to be a tough one- mostly to get him to focus and hold his attention long enough in the classroom, and it would be a struggle to make him do “extra” work at home- but he has almost finished all his sight words he needs to know by the end of the year ( with 4 months left) the ones he practices every night- he can do it in record speed!! He is reading whole Pete the cat books each night, and pretty quickly! And just got Terrific kid of the month! So very proud of him!! So our experience at this school so far has been great and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon! But I know everyone’s will be different depending on needs, wants, and expectations - and it will be that way everywhere you go!Parent Review2y ago - Flowertown Elementary School

The teachers were wonderful and we never had any issues at all. We were sad to move away from SC because this school/daycare was so good.Parent Review1y ago - Bethany Child Development Center
