Posted by a parent on 11/21/2022Our family is very grateful to Trident Academy. Our son is thriving here. He loves school and has made impressive academic progress. The teachers and staff are nurturing, extremely competent and very supportive.
Posted by a parent on 5/7/2019My son is excelling and content and happy at Trident Academy. The teachers are incredible and he has learned more this year than he had in the 2 years before at his previous school. He progressed from not reading at all in over 2 years at his previous school to reading pages of chapter books in 4 months. We are really impressed. We love it and he loves it!

Posted by a parent on 8/30/2017Trident has been a great fit for our daughter. The teachers and resources they have for children with language based learning differences are truly amazing.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageECMCS has become a second home to our family. Each of my children have had a unique and incredibly supportive experience as they've gone through primary up to upper elementary so far...middle school is next! We have had different teachers for each child and have found each one to be 100% invested in their educational and mental health. It has truly been a privilege to be invited in and allowed to interact and participate so often as a parent. The feeling of home is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the school - each administrator, staff and teacher addresses my children by name, knows me and my husband and is so engaged in the whole child. We couldn't imagine being anywhere else for 11 years!Parent Review2mo ago - James B. Edwards Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have not had a good experience at this school. My child came home complaining of his teacher yelling at him and embarrassing him infront of the class on multiple occasions alone with other students in the class. I had a meeting with the teacher and principal where they stated "children will be children" and that my son had never been yelled at. I was asked to either send him back to the same teacher or withdraw my son 6 weeks before the end of school. Very disappointed in this school. They will not believe you or advocate for your child. My advice is to choose another school.Parent Review2y ago - Belle Hall Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a US Department of Education "National Blue Ribbon School". My children attended from k-5. I am confident that Belle Hall is among the very best schools in the country with outstanding, highly professional teachers who are on top of their game and are led by a very caring, student-focused principal. I give this traditional neighborhood school my very highest possible recommendation.Parent Review11mo ago - Christ Our King-Stella Maris School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 4 children graduate from COKSM and they were all well prepared and felt loved and supported by the faculty. They have a resource department and reading interventionist. COKSM has a strong basketball program, a successful dance team, cheerleading, archery, tennis etc. When you go to COKSM you become part of the family.Parent Review1y ago - Coastal Christian Preparatory School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSeeing a lot of negative reviews on this school and from what it seems, homework is a huge factor and I'm honestly not sure what parents/students expected from an academic school but this is a prek-12th grade school that values education in a christian learning environment. If a student can't handle the homework load then I would recommend another high school. I would definitely agree it's more than other schools but certainly not impossible. A lot of classmates I was with struggled with the homework load but also had 2-4 hours of social media screen time. This school truly prepares you for the academics of the real world and if you go to CofC, coastal, citadel, or anderson, you'll be beyond prepared. If you go to Clemson, wofford, or furman, you'll be sufficiently prepared. I don't know about Ivy league schools. The teachers balance a professional and personal relationship with a good learning environment and sufficient office hours.Other Review5mo ago - O'quinn Schools Of Porter-Gaud - Mount Pleasant
