Penn Wood El School

We love PW! I have a 4th and 2nd grader- both students have attended since kindergarten. There is a warm welcoming feeling to the school fostered by the administration and staff. Time is taken daily to teach character and self-care which is so needed these days! My 4th grader is pulled out daily for gifted instruction in a very small group setting which we both love. The only negative I can think of is this year the 4th and 5th grade classes are 30+ students- this is temporary, the school is adding classes soon and each grade has an additional “floating” teacher to help at crucial times.

My kids started attending Penn Wood this school year. I have one in K and one in 1st grade. Both kids LOVE the school, their teachers and their principal. I have also spoken with the teachers and principal on several occassions and you can tell that they care about the school and the children deeply. My 1st grader is a gifted child and had trouble at his prior school when he was in K becasue he was bored with the topics. He is not bored at Penn Wood and is not getting in trouble. His teacher raves about him. I LOVE Penn Wood.

I have a child that has special educational needs. I have been so impressed with Penn Wood and the principle, Dr. Gacomis. They have handled our specific needs with great attention and care from Kindergarten on. My experience with Penn Wood has exceeded my expectations. I love this school.

Penn wood is an amazing experience to go through. And the principal is the best!!
