I do think Lankenau has some great teachers here but some fail to actually help students in understanding the material. A student that graduated from this school came by talking about all the opportunities he was able to have going here and I'm disappointed to say that Lankenau doesn't have those programs anymore, not saying that this is soley Lankenau's fault because it isn't it's the terrible school district that we have but our principle Mrs. Dean doesn't help at all. She's a terrible principle, she does nothing to help the student body, and I'll go as far as to say she's only hurt the students academically. She's proven time and time again that she cares only for her paycheck and has a superiority complex, putting unnecessary rules and restrictions onto students stripping them away from the little freedom we have and doing nothing to help get us the opportunities needed to suceed. The road leading to the school is really messed up and dangerous for both teachers and students especially during the winter when roads have ice on them, I'm honestly surprised that no ones gotten seriously injured while going down there. The school overall needs an upgrade in a lot of things. The school building itself needs to be innovated, it doesn't even have a proper auditorium and the gym is so tiny, even my middle schools gym was 5× bigger than it, the ceiling is so low that those basketball hoops you see on the playground touches it even though it's not up all the way. And We need a more motivated principle that actually cares for the students because apparently the current one doesn't. Don't get me wrong though, the small amount of students makes it easier for us to connect with each other and teachers and really bound together when needed, everyone's friendly, and I've never seen too serious of bullying happing amongst students but this school really needs some changes.

Does not discriminate among students , teachers are willing to give students the extra help that they may or may not need. The principal, teachers, and other faculty members show leadership and determination .

I am a graduate of class of 2010 Lankenau has some amazing teachers and staff dedicated to help you learn. i believe that I am going to enter college with the material I need to make it through. But like all schools there are some flaws. Some of the teachers only give attetion to SOME students they don't put forth effort to make sure everyone understands the lesson instead they go by if you get it you get it if you don't you don't and I totally disagreed with this thesis. As far as science and some math courses I will enter college having to study the basics all over again because some of my high school teachers failed to help. Another thing I was dissapointed in was graduation they were constantly reconizing one student of her achievements, they failed to find out what awards and colleges everyone decided to attend.
