Posted by a parent on 11/15/2022Amazing teachers and staff - really care and invested in students. Agree school feels like a second family to my 2 children there -- they love it and are learning so much so fast. Very strong academics with plenty of arts, music, choir, mandarin, etc. They integrate culture quite naturally and abundantly into the daily education. The way they cultivate the school community leaves me confident that my kids are learning how to be kind compassionate people with a larger perspective of the world as well. It's an unparalleled education in humanity as well as the basics of classes.
Posted by a parent on 4/26/2015i had been in this school for 2 years. this year's 8th grade will be the first class to graduate from k-8. its very exciting to be in the first class that went from kindergarten all the way to 8th grade. i may not be a parent but i highly recommend this school
Posted by a community member on 3/1/2014I already graduated from FACTS but I've been there since kindergarten. I love FACTS so much it has thought me a hole lot about life and i'm going to miss that school so much.
Posted by a community member on 9/6/2013My daughter attends kindergarten at FACTS. All of our experience have been nothing but wonderful! The teachers and staff are super friendly. Creatively and academically this school soars. My daughter loves going to school and can't wait to teach me all of the wonderful things that she's learning. How many parents can say their 6 year old is teaching them Mandarin?! I am so grateful for FACTS and have the utmost confidence in my daughter's education!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThough I left FSS in after second grade, my experience up until that point was far from superb, and reports from friends still in FSS indicate that it gets worse as the grade levels progress. Though many of the teachers were very kind and supportive, some of them were very inflexibale and did not teach effectively. Moreover, the actual content of the teaching was of an extremely low level, making it so that when I left for a new school, I was far behind. Even if things remained at this level, I would be currently maleducated at best (if I had stayed there), but the general idea I seem to have gotten is that it gets worse in the higher grade levels. I have little basis with which to elaborate on this specifically, but in general it seems to be an inflated version of all bad aspects present in the lower levels in the Upper School. I would not recommend FSS to anyone, and though it is far from the worst, one would expect better from a private school in central Philadelphia.Other Review3mo ago - Ijoba Shule
