Read what parents are saying about Belle Valley El SchoolSince the removal of the last principal, it seems things are moving in a better direction. Cheri Law, the assistant principal, is wonderful and is doing a fantastic job taking over. The environment is once again warm and welcoming, and you can see a noticeable difference in many areas. I am happy things are turning around under new leadership!

The new principal has created a very rigid, tense environment, and is known for constant arguments with parents - always attempting to power struggle with everyone in her path, no matter what the issue. She has an awful reputation within the district and it's only her second year in the position.
Posted by a parent on 11/2/2017While I believe the vast majority of the teachers in this school the office, principal, superintendant and school board are running it into the ground. Recently they have implemented "safety procedures" to protect the students. The 2 biggest threats they address: first parents(the principal herself assured me it is dangerous for kids to b with their parents and that is why they aren't allowed in the school or even out of their car to pick up their own children) second the school itself(I was told that the students must wait outside for their safety, implying that the building itself is dangerous). To sum up teachers are pretty good, everything else pretty awful.

It is a fantastic school where their is a feeling of "family". We are looking forward to the new year and anxious to see how the new Principal will be in comparison to our beloved Mr. Colinear!!!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a substitute teacher and Diehl is lacking in a lot of areas. Substitute teachers like myself come to this school to help out when the permanent teachers are out. On that note we come to give assistance to Diehl to try to make the day easier on all the faculty. Most of the students that I have met at the school are nice, and very very few teachers are also. Most of the faculty/administration are a different story. Very few teachers are willing to be welcoming, helpful or even nice to substitutes and most of the administration is the same way. One time I was waiting to be helped and I was completely ignored, the certain administrative person was to busy talking about fishing. The secretary is a major issue, she treats substitutes like they are below her precious self. I know that I don't appreciate being treated that way and other substitutes don't either. I am never coming back to Diehl to substitute, I will go to any other school, but never this one again.Other Review8y ago - Jefferson El School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school. I hate the fact that he has to go to a different one for the year. I hate boundaries for school they don't work nothing out each class has at least 30 students in a class since they closed 3 schools down this school district needs to do something to lower the students in a class. What happen to the 96 million they got 3 years ago what a waste nothing got better got worst. Fix our system.
