Read what parents are saying about Dove Science Academy (Okc)It's the best school ever you need to get your kid in rolled Now be for its too late. Only bad thing is the safety your kid might get a bully but thats all.
Posted by a parent on 4/7/2022This school is very bad!! I do not recommend parents sending their child here the expect us to be just like the teachers if your in one of the smarter classes they expect a lot from you and you are behind every class. Half the teachers are Turkish and it's hard to understand their accent.
Posted by a student on 3/10/2022So glad to be a part of the Dove family! The support they provide for our kids is one of the many aspects I admire about them. With their accomplishments in AP/Pre-AP and concurrent classes, the high school is able to provide our students with great experience in higher academic areas. The support they have towards the seniors in their college and scholarships application is also another reason I have been sending my daughter here. Thank you so much DSA HS!

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEdgemere has been a fantastic educational experience for my children. Not only are they learning and growing in knowledge, but they are surrounded by warm, caring adults. The teachers and staff are so loving towards the children. There is amazing community support as others have mentioned. The after school programs are offered for no cost, there are volunteers at the school regularly, and many resources are offered to families. I love this school!Parent Review7y ago - Eugene Field Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Eugene Field. The teacher turnover is minimal which says a lot about a school. Every teacher our children have had are amazing. Extremely knowledgeable with academics but also child development. Our children have excelled in this environment. Such a wonderful community and multiple extra curricular activities.Parent Review1y ago - Gatewood Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the privilege of completing a long-term sub job at Gatewood. The principal and staff were supportive and the programs in place to help the students achieve academically were outstanding. The character education was excellent as well. The comments on this page concerning bullying are confusing to me since I saw teachers take a strong stance in this area. It is a good little school - with the emphasis on little. I'm not sure who ever thought it was a good idea to close small schools in favor or elementary schools with a student population of 500 or more was misguided. The teachers at Gatewood know the students and work hard with both the students and the parents to make this a great school with tremendous community support.Other Review6y ago - Putnam Heights Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school leaders are dishonest and do not make sure students have the best teachers. There is bullying that is never taken care of. THey only try to hide what is wrong with the school instead of fixing it.Parent Review5y ago - Wilson Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChristy (Principal) treats her employees terribly. Staff is unprofessional, gossips and it gets back to the parents, very inappropriate. Confidential information about students and families is shared to other families and it gets back to the family being talked about. Another problem is bullying and harassment. Certain kids are blamed and they may not be the ones responsible, however, the faculty "labels" certain kids and decides they are problems. Certain kids are unpunished because their parents are at the school all of the time and have money. Disorganized and rules are not consistent, again it depends on who you are. The teachers are very mean and the school has fallen apart ever since the principal became Mrs. Harris. I would never send your kids here unless you want them to absolutely hate learning.Other Review1mo ago - Bishop John Carroll School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWould never recommend. We took our children out due to staff supporting and sustaining racism by other students toward our children, yes it happened to more than one! Laughing off racism is why racism continues by the way. Finally when one of our children reacted, he was the one punished. Academically this school is behind, our kids entered another system behind, only one was even on level. What a shame.Parent Review1y ago
