Read what parents are saying about Norwood High SchoolI think this school is great, it's super diverse and has lots of options for students with clubs classes, and activities. Most people are nice and making friends isn't too hard there are some rough ducks but overall I like my school.
Posted by a student on 10/20/2021This school is awesome there is so much school pride and so many great teachers. The curriculum can be at all different paces and there are so many different types of people.
Posted by a student on 6/24/2021My son came as a freshman to NHS from a specialized private school, the Springer School. He has language based learning issues that require an IEP. The school staff and faculty have exceeded our highest expectations. Yes, there are many kids here from lower socio-economic background. However, the quality of the classroom and staff so far has been excellent.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give 0 stars I would. This is a horrible environment for your children if you care about them! The staff do not seem too bad , some do not have the best temperament with children. The children are obviously raised by ill fitted parents who curse around their children and do not monitor what they watch on TV because the amount of inappropriate language and behavior is horrendous. Their test scores speak volumes this school shouldn’t be able to stay open if the students are failing and so far behind! They can’t learn because the kids have no respect for adults due to their parents not being PARENTS…. Do not send your children here!!! They are better off being home schooled if this is the only option you have!Parent Review2y ago - Sharpsburg Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible rating based on unprofessionalism. Me and my wife paid our application fee, went on a tour and loved what we experienced. We never received a call and NEVER had any of our calls returned. We where very disappointed in our treatment and recommend going to TNSM.Parent Review7y ago - The New School Montessori

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe New School Montessori provides an excellent academic education and fosters social development. Children learn by experience and exploration, which develops their critical thinking and problem solving skills. All of these factors set a strong foundation for success in higher education and beyond. The staff is incredible in how they teach and encourage the children. The larger community of parents is supportive of each other.Parent Review3y ago - St Cecilia Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWho is this school for? Families in which mothers/fathers take an active/positive part in raising their children. If you are reading this review then I assume you are a grownup who takes your job seriously (discipline, setting limits, educating, and all that good stuff, for physical and intellectual and spiritual development of your children). If I am correct, and you are that kind of person, then you will find a great source of support in St. Cecilia Elementary School!!! Mike Goedde the principal is one of the good ones, for sure! He understands what children need in order to truly thrive, and he is absolutely committed to his mission. St. Cecilia as a parish has a heart of gold; it's a beautifully faithful community, really centered around God. Who might want to pass on this school? Those mothers/fathers who are not open to the teachings of the Catholic church.Students get a period of religious education every single school day, plus they attend Mass once/week. I think sometimes problems come up when parents consider themselves "tolerant" rather than open. Feelings of hostility or defensiveness have a tendency to surface, on the part of those "tolerant" parents, when cultural differences arise.Parent Review6mo ago - Cornerstone Christian Academy
