Extremely Bad. Principal Wolff is only concerened about the overall appearance of the school and staff. The reality is they do not care at all. If a parent speaks out about the bullying and even the rude and unacceptable behavior that is going on in restrooms which by the way was for me very difficult to wrap my mind around since it is an ELEMENTARY school, they will try to hush you and pretend the school is perfect. Don’t be fooled with what you see from the outside, this school is far from what it seems to be.

We are new to the are and selected our home based on the Upper Arlington School District. Our kids were going to an amazing private school in NC - Camelot Academy (9 out of the 12 seniors were national merit finalists) and I was apprehensive about public school. Our whole family has been nothing but pleased with our experiences with the Greensview teachers and staff. Greensview is excellent from top to bottom (and sideways). The principal (and staff) is perfect - professional, respected, well-intentioned, and fair; the teachers are caring, thoughtful, competent, and engaging; and the pto is well run, effective, and actually does useful things for the kids, teachers, and school. It took a month or two for our children to be academically placed, but once they were, they have thrived. They love school and are very fond of the people there who take care of them.

I love the staff at Greensview. I love how the teachers are able to individually take each child forward from where they begin. I don t know how they do it, but it is amazing. They don t use a cookie cutter formula to teach-but take each child s needs into consideration. I have 3 children with 3 different personalities (overly shy, overly energetic, and easy going-could be easily overlooked). I feel each has been given the best education and their teachers have been able to creatively identify ways to gently push them to reach their full intellectual and social potential. They have loved school the entire time and looked forward to each school day. My oldest child, who is in middle school now, was very prepared for the riggers of middle school education. Other things that make me feel proud of being a part of Greensview include the charity projects that are done at each grade level, having strong parental support and involvement and the focus on being good citizens through activities that promote positive social interaction. I feel students from Greensview are prepared both socially and academically for their future education and highly recommend the school to others.

Greensview elementary is an excellent community built around the ideas of Positive behavior, respect, integrity, duty, and empathy (PRIDE). The collaboration among teachers in this school is excellent; teachers are constantly asking for feedback and trying to further improve their teaching approaches. Teachers use differentiated instruction to meet each individual students needs. Hands on approaches and technology are used on a regular basis in this school, advanced technology such as smart boards, i-pads, computers and video cameras are used daily. This close-knit community is highly welcoming and works hard to create a safe, fun and intellectually stimulating environment for all students.

Greensview is a community of learners. The teaching staff works hard to incorporate 21st Century Skills into all of their academic units. Students work with ipads, computers, SMART boards, and document cameras on a regular basis. However, the best part of Greensview is the building wide focus on Service Learning and the sense of community that is created with our addition of PRIDE Pal Families and monthly Town Meetings. Our teachers offer a best practices approach to our students and offer differentiation to meet all of their individual needs. Greensview is child centered, high performing (top 10% of all elementary schools in the state) and nurturing.
