Read what parents are saying about Columbus Humanities Arts And Technology AcademyNot only is this school supportive of their student's, they are supportive of the community and the children within the community. They are welcome to ideas and programs that enrich children outside of the school. They are kind, supportive, and will go above and beyond to accomodate outside programs that benefit our youth. The principal is an amazing and kind individual who has a love and passion for his mission to uplift and inspire. I read a post about the parent's being rude...what in the world does that have to do with the school? They are helping our youth....they can't discipline a parent. Another statement said the kids aren't well behaved....sounds to me like many schools in our nation....that's why we instill bullying programs, because there are unruly, unkind, and malicious individuals in our country.....this school can't do anything about that except to continue to inspire and build the character of the children internally and throughout the community.

Posted by a student on 2/24/2018As a grandparent. We look forward to seeing are grandchildren at school functions. Rather it's plays, graduations ect. I have been to this School twice now an both times, I could not enjoy it. Due to parents. Today was my grandsons graduation. Couldn't even hear the teachers who prepared speeches for thier classes. As parents we lead as examples. When parents are being rude an standing up talking during things no wonder the children aren't learning any better. I'm hoping next year will be better as now I have another grandson attending this school. Get control of the parents. So we can enjoy coming an seeing them have a play and graduate...A hopeful Grandparent.
Posted by a community member on 5/22/2017This school is very unprofessional and inconsistent. The teachers are rude and speaks to the parent very disrespectful and the principle allows it. They send announcements home the day before . They are terrible at communication! Do not send your children VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience with this school was horrendous. I do not believe they are truly equipped to manage/teach children who require an intervention specialist. Maria Allen (Intervention Specialist) and Tiffany Genton (Principal) were not easy to work with. They communicated with me up until I started catching them in lies and calling them out about the lies. My son was bullied, and while I often received phone calls when he was misbehaving, I never received a phone call when my son was hurt or bullied. Both Maria and Tiffany lied about not knowing my son was bullied, Maria did so during a group meeting. When I informed everyone in the meeting she blatantly lied when she said she had no idea about the bullying, she became visibly embarrassed. I reminded her of the incident I brought to her attention when my son was shoved down in the hallway and then subsequently had another kids foot on his chest. During that meeting, I also reminded her that she stated she didn't tell me about that incident because she handled it. That is still never okay. I should have been notified. Neither his father nor myself were notified. I typically heard about when my son was misbehaving but never when he was bullied. The both of them lied on my child, as well. There was an incident where Tiffany stated my son pulled the chair out from under another student. An adult from my family inquired with my son AND the other student about what happened. The other student stated that he feel out of his chair and that my child wasn't near him when it happened. Tiffany told my son's father about an incident on the playground, then told me a completely different story about the same incident. I didn't trust them and I still don't. I never thought I could have the capacity to hate anyone, but alas. If your child requires an intervention specialist, I strongly suggest looking for a different school. That classroom was consistently disorderly, Maria did not have a good handle on it. I kept paper trails of lies, when I mentioned that, written communication with me became free and far between. My son used to cry himself to sleep at night knowing he had to go to school the next day. It broke my heart. He missed a lot of school because of bullying. I am so happy we found a different school. I would NEVER send a child there as long as those two are still in the building. Very unprofessional, rude, condescending liars.Parent Review1y ago - Parkmoor Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending Parkmoor since kindergarten and I have nothing but praises to say about this school. The principal Mrs. Campbell runs a tight ship and the students know this. The staff is always welcoming and willing to help a child and their family any way they can. There is tons of communication from the staff so if you as a parent don't know something that is going on it's because you are not involved. There are phone calls weekly, newsletter monthly, and papers/flyers sent home with the children regularly. This school has been such a blessing for my son!Parent Review4y ago - Valley Forge Elementary School
