Westbury Friends School

Westbury Friends School was recommended to me by a parent who couldn't stop gushing about the school. Now that my child attends Westbury Friends School, I can't either! The school community, teachers, staff and principal, educational program, social-emotional connections, healthy lifestyle, emphasis on the whole child, multi-cultural responsiveness and S.P.I.C.E.S. makes this school so special. Did I mention they have a dual-language Spanish immersion program? The students are not just becoming bilingual, they're becoming biliterate. After a few months, our child is already reading and writing in Spanish and English . We're so glad we made the decision to send our child here and you will be too.

Westbury Friends School has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our child. We entered pre-k age right after COVID. Our main concerns were safety with the Covid restrictions and our food allergies. During our initial tour we fell in love with the campus and “home-like” feel of each classroom. The Head of School and entire staff welcomed us with warmth and understanding of our first time in school nerves. Today my child still attends WFS and not only thriving academically but understanding how to be a good person and contribute to our community. The values that are taught and practiced everyday at WFS is something that we would never find else where. We love the Quaker approach and will always support WFS.

5 stars across the board. Safety, sense of community, teacher engagement, student engagement, family engagement, connection to nature and the REAL world around us... ALL OF IT! Students of all races, colors and creeds welcomed with open arms and made to feel like family and at home! It truly unique such a close knit community exploding with diversity!
