Read what parents are saying about Quaker Ridge SchoolI am thrilled with Quaker Ridge. The teacher quality is really top-notch. The curriculum is awesome - they've put in Singapore math. I agree - the nurse is excellent. Parent involvement is great. The after-school clubs are great... I can't find a single fault, no matter how small.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is very interactive and teachers teach with the kids not at them. The community is very welcoming and sweet. My child adjusted pretty quickly. This schools curriculum was tuff but it helped my kid grow in knowledge, wisdom, and mental endurance. They push the kids to do there best and the discipline is definitely tuff when it comes to the actions of the student. But, it helps shape them into a respectful and well behaved young man. The teachers genuinely care about the students and want them to learn and understand the topics they go over instead of just moving on for the sake of getting work done. Lots of work is done during my child's time here and it definitely positively shaped my child academically to be ready for college.Other Review3mo ago - St. Pius X School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three children at the school from PreK through 5th grade and I could not be more pleased with the quality of education they are receiving as well as the focus on character building and kindness infused throughout the school day. The schoolwork is appropriately rigorous and challenging and students are supported with any learning struggles they may experience. There are many engaging after-school and extracurricular offerings and the PTA has done a wonderful job of building up our community with fun events for the whole family. The principal and teachers are always available and readily communicate with parents. I would definitely recommend that anyone interested in IHM go for a tour and see for themselves if they think it would be a good fit for their child.Parent Review1y ago - Hudson Country Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHudson has been my home for the last eight years of my life. The time I spent here, especially my middle school time, was really precious. In the last three years, I have been given the opportunity to understand how a business works, participate in movie nights & empanada sales, and to be a part of community service activities. From picking up trash to partaking in the sharing shelf, writing papers and giving speeches at CWMUN (Change the World Model United Nations), and discussing world topics in leadership class with Mr. Meyer. During the pandemic, Hudson has managed distance learning remarkably well. Being able to teach us everything through zoom in an understandable way is truly commendable. The teachers have been able to teach the students from 8 am to 2:30 pm without any problems. Lastly, I would like to thank my two teachers from Middle School, Mrs. Angela Rambukwella and Ms. Yohanna Willheim. It is because of Mrs. Rambuk that I am able to succeed in doing 10th-grade math in 8th grade. She gave up her time during the summer and after school, in helping me finish 9th grade in three months and moving me up to tenth which I am very grateful for. Ms. Willheim has been a wonderful teacher in both science and English. She has given some of the greatest topics to do group presentations and personal projects, such as creating a mars calendar and how it would be if we were to colonize Mars. A lot of my friends who attend public schools have never heard of being given such creative topics to do research on and that credit goes entirely to Ms. Willheim. Not only that, but if anyone is having any homework difficulties or needs time to talk to her, Ms. Willheim has always been there. I couldn’t ask for better preparation for high school than what Hudson has given me!Other Review2y ago
