The class sizes are small and allows lots of individual attention for students. I believe the small budget is preventing this school from being great. There is a lot of school spirit and pride here and this money would be greatly appreciated.

The small class sizes are ideal for individualized attention. I think that the small budget is hindering this school from being really great. There is a wonderful sense of community and school pride.

A beautiful school, nestled in a quaint town. Small classes allow more one on one support, this school has great potential but due to past history, the repor the school has with the community is fragile. The community needs to stop thinking of bad past experiences and instead think of ways to bring the grandeur the school once had. The teachers are dedicated to their students, but with all these new State mandates/Core Standards, it puts even a greater burden on staff and faculty. Parents who care for this school need to show more positive involvement, instead of complaining about what is not being done or offered at the school. Teachers are striving to offer their students more, such as recycling and renewable energy but become frustrated when resistance is shown by Board of Ed., fellow collegues and students. Need to put this school on the map, it has great potential that not only can offer its students, but community as well. Tax payers need to swallow their pride as well and accept the fact that to maintain this schools identity, which the community wants they need to help pay their share and not dump it on someone else to flip the bill.
