Palmyra Macedon Senior High School

Being an active member of the community and having my children attend the schools, I am very pleased with the quality of education at Pal-Mac. There are many opportunities in the IB program, AP courses and Gemini courses for the students to take advantage of in preparation for college. The administration, teachers my children have had and counselors have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and working in the best interest of my children. There are many opportunities for growth in the arts and athletics. I am very happy my children attended school in this district and have grown up in this supportive community. My children were more than prepared for post secondary education after graduating from Pal-Mac.

Pal Mac is a horrible school district. Half of the teachers care and the other half are there for a paycheck and to pass the kids through. My daughter has attended Pal- Mac for 10 years the older she became the worse the teaching practices became. Its not all about sports people, its about an education as well. When teachers don't understand how to conjugate a verb the school is in trouble. Happily this is the last year there, the new administration is lax at best I forgot to mention that my child has only had actual textbooks from the school for the last three years
