The old principal Lisa run the school in a incredible way. Since she left the new principal created major damage to this school. She NEGLECT students needs. Avoids what parents ask, she completely disregards what your child needs. Won’t even discuss the matter your concerned about. She’s the reason the school has such a decline compared to all the schools nearby.

My kids are all attending PS 130M, my older one already graduate and younger one still in. I have so many years experience with this school and I love this school so much. Lots of art programs, very responsible teachers and quick response to any bully issues. The High Asian percentage gave this school a unique culture like every lunar Chinese New Year, school will give kid red envelop for good luck. The chance to learn lion dance and put a show on Chinese New Year. Yearly banquet with a feast of Chinese food with a few to say. PS130 gave my kids and I very happy memories.

I highly recommend OLPH if you want small class size, caring teachers and a solid Catholic foundation.

St. Luke's is such a special. The community is warm, inviting, diverse and interesting. The education is top class and meets your kids wherever they need to be. The staff and faculty are amazing! And the campus just keeps getting better and better with a new playground and a new rooftop with an outdoor classroom and playing field.

Our family has been at AOSJ for 12 years, with our older child starting in pre-K.Our youngest child will be finishing 8th grade this year. We cannot say enough good things about the Academy. Because AOSJ is an academically focused school, our kids have learned the basics extremely well, especially because of the dedicated and caring teachers. We firmly believe that AOSJ’s smaller environment fosters a sense of a family community where the teachers and administrators know each student, and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each student and provide the attention and focus to help each student achieve. They have also learned how to be a good person through the extremely deeply grounded ethos of Character, Competence and Compassion. Lastly, the graduates have been accepted to top high schools across NYC and top schools and boarding schools outside the City. Our oldest was accepted to the very school to which he applied?
