Posted by a parent on 4/21/2016I am proud that my children are a part of this school. My oldest is 8 and in the 3rd grade now and he's been attending Parker since Pre-K. Mr. Yard, the principle, is absolutely amazing. He takes the time to get to know each of his students and their parents. My oldest has been struggling with ADHD his whole life and the teachers, principle, and all of the staff, including the nurse, school psychologist, and the school counselor all work together to provide a safe, bully-free, fun, and functional environment for children to learn and grow. I would recommend this school to everyone living in Cortland who wants their children to have the very best of experiences, socially, academically, mentally, and physically. Go Parker Panthers!!!

Not only does my son love going to school, but the fact he can go to school in a setting that encourages him to live his faith without fear is amazing. Many of the teachers are lifelong St. Mary's staff and parents as well which says a lot about their dedication to the school. The education the students receive and graduate with is outstanding and puts them in a very good position for when they leave and transition to Middle School. The Parent's Guild is a wonderful opportunity for parents to stay involved in the school and a great way to give back to the SMS family. As a parent, I have never regretted and have always stood firm in my decision to send my child to SMS!Parent Review1y ago
