Read what parents are saying about Achievement First Endeavor Charter SchoolAchievement First Endeavor Middle School proves challenging to connect with the board, causing frustration. The school's organizational shortcomings lead to the loss of crucial staff, impacting the creation of a supportive environment for scholars. Teachers lack essential assistance in classrooms with 25 or more students. Based on these concerns, I would not recommend this school to others.
Posted by a parent on 11/15/2023i'm a student here and it is a very educational school its good except for the other students disturbing my learning
Posted by a student on 10/17/2022AMAZING, I can't express how amazing this school has been for my son and I. I'm hoping in the next few years Brooklyn doesn't change too much in terms of cost to live in the area, I can't imagine my little guy being anywhere else.
Posted by a parent on 8/26/2019A definite 10 out of 10, I prayed to be able to place my child in a school with educators who were involved, caring, professional and loved what they did as that is important when dealing with our future leaders and that is exactly what I got I LOVE ACHIEVEMENT FIRST ENDEAVOR

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child started kindergarten at PS11 in 2021 and we couldn’t be happier with the decision to choose this school. All the staff are so supportive and caring. The principal (Ms. Hope), assistant principal (Mrs. Rand) , and parent coordinator (Mr. Rand) are some of the sweetest, most concise and informative people you will ever meet. The PTA members and volunteers are on top of everything as well and work on so many functions and events throughout the school year to keep the students and families engaged and involved. Strong communication, community, trust, kindness, and compassion are only a few of the things that come to mind when it comes to describing our experience at PS11. This school cares about different cultures and it is actually part of the curriculum. I would categorize this school as academically rigorous. Lots of projects and homework which is something that my family appreciate (can you expect any less from a school that strives for academic excellence?). Not so sure about my daughter because at this age, they just want to play. She’ll come to appreciate it in time. ;) There’s also a plethora of after school enrichment programs like art, baking, ceramics, coding, chess, science, tennis, drama, dance, swimming!! That’s just to name a few! The teachers, so far, are a hit or miss. I guess it comes down to personality. Some people are more organized than others. As long as the newer teachers are willing to learn the culture of the school and are receptive to it, that’s a plus. So far, no major issues with the teachers. They have been very caring and committed. Daughter likes her teacher and is treated with respect in class so that makes us as parents happy. The students seem friendly (gauging only from a kindergarten through first grade aspect). Our daughter is very quiet and we thought it would be tough for her to make friends. We were wrong. The friends that she has made are the sweetest little things and they make her happy. She wouldn’t want to trade that for any other school.Parent Review11mo ago - Ps 56 Lewis H Latimer

They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise along with a care and commitment that is much needed in child development.Parent Review8mo ago - Nelrak Child Development Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's stupid how there are no required academics like math. The idea that 13 year olds with no clue about life can choose their curriculum is bloody well ridiculous. Btw, I put three because I'm sure there will be kids who are excited or run around all day even though that will provide them no future.Parent Review1y ago - The Brooklyn Waldorf School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could not recommend BWS more. We feel very fortunate to be a part of this beautiful community. The teachers are incredibly committed, nurturing, observant and thoughtful. All children should have access to a school like this.Parent Review1y ago - Bethel Elementary School
