Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy (Ms High School 141)

There's a lot of bullying and fighting inside the school and out of school in the surrounding communities. Glad my daughter no longer attends.

I am currently attending the school and my experience has been great but I believe there is room for improvement. they students and facilty have been really helpful and supportive. but in some cases i have witnessed some bullying. what needs to be improved is that the school needs to handle bullying more effectively. also the work assigned to us need to get students more engaged in learning as when I take classes it's not about learning its about memorizing enougth information to get good marks on the next test then forgetting it all on the weekend but other then that I think the school is really good and I would recommend it to parents who are about to enroll there kids into middle school.

I wish I had sent my son to a different school. I an very disappointed with the general education program there.

How can I describe a school that parents, community members, and locals run away from in droves. This so called "High School is a running joke among the people that live nearby It's would be funny if it weren't so tragic. They have limited arts and music programs and refuse to deal with constant bullying that occurs on a regular basis. The problems at next door PS 24 school serve as an indicator of how bad things really are. When I went to this school our teachers made it crystal clear on a regular basis how little they believed in us as students, and how much the Principal at the time was to blame for the downgrade of the school. The admin pretends that this is such a great place to attend, but academics are not a priority. Teachers who considered themselves saints for working with economically disadvantaged students. They just kept making promises of improvement that never came true. I entered an idealistic youth, and graduated with nothing but regret about my overall experience here. I went to this school and it ruined my future academic prospects, my belief in public education, and the idea that regardless of zip code every child is entitled to a quality education. As a parent I would pick ANY other school but this one. The simply don't care.

We have had a great experience at this school for my child.
