There is no other school in New York City that I would want my kids to go through. It has one of the highest diversity rates of the private schools, it works hard to bring in families at all levels of the socioeconomic spectrum. And while it may skew some kids' perspectives about the range of "normal" when it comes to privilege, it consistently turns out curious, creative, thoughtful, collaborative problem-solvers. And when you look at the exmissions list, the graduates are getting into every range of institutions from all Ivy Leagues to State University, to top liberal arts, Big 12, and artistic/design colleges. The only area that is under-represented are top math and science schools. You don't see a lot of our kids going to MIT. We are very happy there.
