My son with physical and learning disabilities has been attending this main stream school, this is his 3rd year. Thus far, we have been blessed with great teachers and an outstanding, dedicated, hard working paraprofessional. The therapist that have been working with him are extremely efficient and professional. We have noticed a lot of progress and they have all been helpful and available to guide, assist or inform us of better ways to work with my son. We have had great response from the Assistant Principle when sought out and needed. There is a lot of room for improvement, in regards to organization, the manner in which they provide information and the response from the clerical staff. Specifically, the tone and manner in which they address parents. I need to clarify that most of the personnel is respectful and well informed, yet there are a few that for whatever reason look down on the parents and demonstrate it openly. They need to be re-trained and reminded that they are there to work with the diverse community the school services.Hopefully the school continues to go in the right direction. We continue to have great, dedicated educators. The Principle and Assistant Principles continue to work with the community and parents to improve the chances for success for all the children they care for!
