Read what parents are saying about St. Theresa Grade SchoolIf you are looking for a school that puts values and morals at its core together with academic excellence, look no further. My children have attended this school for past 4 years and we are very happy with administration and teachers. Excellent School!
Posted by a parent on 6/11/2018Our family has had such a nice experience at STS in the Little Stallions program. My daughter has learned so much in only a short time and is listening, speaking, and following directions at home since being in school. This year she loved some of the special events including the tree lighting (the whole school was decorated with lights for the month of December) and Easter celebration to celebrate spring and New Life (she loved the petting zoo, ice cream, floral display and came home singing a new religious song). Thank you to Sister Lou Ann and everyone who put together these special events for the children! It is evident the teachers, administration, and caregivers truly care about the children at STS!
Posted by a parent on 4/16/2018Great experience! The teachers and staff are kind and caring. The only thing I could ask for is a mire diverse student body and teachers.
Posted by a parent on 2/23/2018This school is terrible. They seem sexist to not allow a girl to play sports with the boy's team while the scholl cant provide a female team for the school. Once comfronted with this, instead of creating a fix or allowing the girl to play on the boys team they expelled her and her sister.
Posted by a community member on 2/2/2017We moved from public schools to catholic. My son is in the older classes. His transition went well and his teachers have been helpful. He was a bit behind the class and has been able to catch up without issue. I liked the small classroom environment and how actively involved the parents are. They offer a number of after school activities at no additional cost and their website keeps parents informed. The whole experience has been positive for me and my son and we will be back this coming school year..

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started in Robert Gordon Elemantary as a 2nd Grader and her 2nd Grade was a success. I love how parents and teachers are very engaged. My daughter's teacher was Mrs. Siegel and he was great. Principal Mrs. Genao is leaving and a new principal will start the 2023/2024 school year.Parent Review8mo ago - Hannah Caldwell Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daughters both attend this school and they are now maintaining an A average after being students here for 2 years. Their teachers maintain great communication in class tag and class dojo. The basketball team is really just fundamentals and they have cute parties for the kids throughout the school year. There was a foam party a glow in the dark party and welcome back party. My kids love this school and it’s safe.Parent Review1y ago - Battle Hill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a raised Kenilworth resident, I had fond memories of the school system and had such high hopes. With covid, we had moved back into town and with my own child attending Harding Elementary, the past 2 school years have been disheartening. The school system protects its image over the well being of the students and will always brush the most severest cases under the rug. The entire school board and school faculty LACKS diversity and we have been treated with racism and favoritism. My child has had nothing but trauma from this school and has no motivation to pursue academically. The school prefers to point fingers at my child versus taking responsibility or action towards anything/anyone else, as it’s easier than solving the actual matter. With a real estate career of my own, fair housing is not only my duty but my love for society and people. As a parent, I have not remained silent and will continue to spread awareness when it’s rightfully so. Everyone is entitled to their own, I speak solely about our experience. No child should have to feel isolated, unfavorable, and singled out due to race or privileges (in the school/town system). We will not continue to take residency or take part of the school system for the future.Parent Review11mo ago - St Michael School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou get what you pay for here...and that's not a lot.No extracurricular activities. No student council. No opportunities for clubs or social engagement.Negligent covid policy.Lots of bullying here and no one addresses it. A 6th grader brought knives to school many times! Drugs and vaping are rampant. No safety policy at all.No school nurse, or substitute teachers when they're absent.Teachers dont return calls or emails.Principal is even worse.Very behind in NJ grade level standards.Save the heartache and go anywhere else. Public school or ANY school is better than here.Parent Review1y ago
