Read what parents are saying about Carteret High SchoolFelt parent involvements are not encouraged by consular. AP classes are good but not many students are capable. Parents are complainer for teachers gives more homework. Doesn't matter the school rank is...What matters how much parents get involved with their children homework and follow up.My son achieved BS in Biomedical Engineering, Master in Medical Science and he is Medical Doctor now. My daughter graduated with Doctrate in Pharmacy in 6 years after high school. What school can help more to teach on managing monies while they are in college.
Posted by a parent on 10/7/2022It’s a very typical school but for a small town it gets you places
Posted by a parent on 9/10/2022My daughter went through the Carteret school system, and graduated High school, however the stories she had mentioned to us about the teachers not being leaders, lack of homework, and just winging it, kids misbehaving in class, shows that there is a lot of work to be done in the Carteret school system. Although we still live in the area, we decided to home school our son who is doing way better that what he would of done in the failed school system of Carteret.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools absolutely horrible, rude disgusting language on some of these kids mouths. I may be a student here, but trust me your kid will be screamed at constantly and under some circumstances coming home in tears. Please save ur kids mental health and pretend this school doesn't exist.Other Review10mo ago - Ps 26 The Carteret School

You can’t get any other teachers like you have in ps 56 . They will answer all yourQuestions and needs . I’m happy this was her zone school. Haven’t heard ever a complaint about anybody or anything . So I’m sure this school will continue toBe one of the top schools in Staten Island .Other Review1y ago - Matthew Jago Elementary School
