From the investments of smartboards in the classrooms, including smart tables in the pre-k classes, I have been pleased that my child is not only receiving a fundamental based, structured approach to education but also a program that incorporates technology into the classroom. Parents can review the website and see the curriculum and lesson plans that the HCA staff are addressing. The school has been transparent about the educational roadmap and plan by grade level. Further, the 8th grade students have been accepted at the best high schools in the area. My child is a student at HCA and both my husband and I are very happy with the school. Our child is reading Chapter books in first grade and we are amazed at her progress in math and science. The school has great extra curriculars and special classes. The parents that get involved do a great job

Yes, here are fees. But if you want to keep up with the changes in education and stay current and up to date - there is a cost. HCA is still an extremely affordable option for top notch education. My children are extremely happy at HCA. Their teachers are extremely attentive and nice......they are quick to respond to any questions. My children really enjoy the group work and projects they are assigned throughout the year. The principal is excellent. You can tell he really enjoys his job.

My child has been at HCA for 5 years and I couldn't be happier with the progress he has made. The teachers are wonderful and they are are constantly challenging my son based on his ability. I constantly compare my son's homework/classwork with my sister's children who go to an excellent public school
... Read more is central NJ. HCA's school work is about the same if not better than my nieces and nephew's school. HCA has many fun events for the children throughout the school year (Halloween parade, Santa breakfast, Easter egg hunt, and so on) and they also have many fun events for parents( golf outing, auction, 5K run.) HCA is affordable, offers an excellent education, the principal is wonderful and experienced, and there is a strong, active parent community . I highly recommend this school! Read less

Not a good choice to enroll you kids in this school. Every single year they increase the tution and adding new fees, plus , and the bigest issue, is they are putting teachers from PRE-K into higher grades such ad 2nd and 3rd grade. To much favoritism to certain families. Glad I pulled out my kids

HCA has done a great job in recovering after the hurricane. However it has a long way to go in providing high quality education for the children. ... Read more educational foundation and getting into some of the most competitive HS int he area, they are doing so in a loving and caring environment. On a daily basis I see how kind the older kids are to the younger ones - something all too rare in today's world. The teachers really care and are excellent. This year alone the 3rd grade teacher was selected as New Jersey State Council of the Knights of Columbus Parochial School Teacher of the Year! While nothing is perfect, Mr. McGrath has done wonders since joining HCA. I've seen a marked improvement in virtually all areas. My husband and I had all intentions of moving out of Hoboken simply due to the lack of good school options. But with the direction that HCA is moving we have decided to stay and raise our children here! Read less

My family is very happy with the education our daughter is receiving at Hoboken Catholic Academy. She has been going for 3 years since PK3 and is finishing up her K year. Our son will start PK3 in September. We are very impressed with the new Principal, Mr. McGrath who joined the school in July 2013.

The school is a wonderful community that has activates and fundraisers for the children and families which brings everyone together.
