Read what parents are saying about Will James 7-8My child is in special Ed. Teachers haven't read her iep as they are required to do. They " forget" to communicate. Our concerns have been politely and a bit patronizingly ignored for 18 months. There is so much staff turnover it's hard to develop any kind of relationship.
Posted by a parent on 12/11/2015The staff at this school is AMAZING. We have moved many times with our career, and settled here in Billings just over two years ago. I have been nothing but impressed with the staff at Will James. They have gone above and beyond in helping both of our children adjust and excel, as well as special situations that have arisen.
Posted by a parent on 9/15/2014My grandsons loved Will James. The boys received good academic attention and loved their teachers! They realize WJ has a reputation for being rock'solid and tried to keep up the reputation. Mr. Orner is great!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had a terrible experience at Arrowhead. There are some incredible teachers, but there are also teachers that follow uniforn to the principal that does nothing about bullying. We truly believe she is the worst principal you could ask for if there are any issues. If your child has no issues with other students, or in general, you child will do just fine at this school. Otherwise, if your child is bullied, be prepared for nothing to be done and your child to be punished as well. (Or told you can find another school if you don't like what she is doing, as this is what she has told different students/families) Or if your child is left out, it will not be a big deal as well. Be prepared to be treated poorly and for what's happening to your child to be disregarded. Bullies are rewarded and can get away with so much. As the kids get older here, the kids that are disrespectful run the school. Even on the playground in how they are allowed to talk to the staff with no consequences. And if you file any complains about any staff putting a child's safety in jeopardy, this will be put aside as well. Very disappointed in the leadership of the staff at this school. Especially for the teachers we have had there that are extraordinary, because that's not enough to ever want to send another child to this school. We are not the first to experience the above, and I am sure until the principal leaves, we are not the last. The emotional damage my child endured here and the anxiety to proceed into the following years in not ok and disheartening.Parent Review8mo ago - Boulder School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has loved her experience at Boulder. She is reluctant to change at times but it was an easy transition. The teachers have been outstanding. The principal has always been very accommodating. She looks forward to going every day! We Love It!Parent Review8y ago - Burlington School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience was not good. I agree that the principal is good with the students which she seemed to be; however, she is not good with her staff especially substitute teachers. She lets the kids run the school. I saw a teacher discipline one of her students for throwing stuff. I next saw the principal go over to the teacher and tell her that it wasn't alright for her to discipline the student for throwing stuff. They have always been very helpful and cooperative. This school has always been welcoming. Both of my kids have some slight learning difficulties and they are willing to work with them and take the time to support encourage and help teach them.Parent Review8mo ago - Miles Avenue School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Poly Elementary! The teachers and staff are extraordinary, and the parent participation is priceless! Great learning environment too. Kids don't get lost in the shuffle, but rather are given the time and attention they need in order to succeed. We chose our home based, in large part, on this school, and are so glad we did!Parent Review7y ago - Rose Park School
