I love Brittany woods so much it a great school I learn so much there

The students in this community deserve better. Admin leads with apathy, which fosters a toxic environment in which teachers feel demotivated, embattled, and dehumanized. Bullying and fighting are shrugged off. Homophobia and misogyny infects this school at every level.

Not a very decent school, an issue around every corner. Feels like a nightmare to attend being honest. A rare few of the teachers understand the issues they're currently going through and try to make the experience fun. Others just go by a book and assume that's how they're "teaching".Bullying is never handled properly, there are fights around every corner and the teachers have done nothing about them. Suspensions aren't enough. The environment isn't very welcoming either. Did you know one of the teachers were almost on the verge of leaving due to the students not accepting them for coming out. Did the staff do anything about it? Not to my knowledge! Students proceed to use "gay" as an insult and constantly hurt other people's feelings. A student was also misgendered as female multiple times (this was eventually solved.)The technology department is also quite awful, they refuse to listen to the student's requests and have blocked almost every website. The teachers are almost awful, too happy about everything. Some teachers are a bit calm, and I appreciate that. However, they could really not get too happy over the simplest things (a homework form, report, ect) There are many better options to send your kids, try your best to avoid this school as much as possible

I attended Brittany Woods middle school during my 7th grade year. I was a straight A student, and took all advanced classes. My experience with this school was an absolute JOKE. Everything these teachers could attempt to "teach" was watered down, low effort jokes. Again, I was in ADVANCED CLASSES and I felt like I was in 4th grade again. However, at the same time, they didn't tell you when to do homework, they just assumed you knew it. I caught onto this pretty quickly, and this was the first time I had ever had to use a planner. Also, I was the ONLY kid that got Principal's Honor Roll the entire 4 terms, and whenever the end of the term came around, I had to personally come up to the stage to get my Principal's Choice award. This shows how little kids put in effort, and how inconsistent the teachers are at instilling effort. Absolute disaster of a school.

A slog full of unforeseen pitfalls and lack of meaningful oversight.
