Read what parents are saying about Parkway North High SchoolMy children loved this school so much. They both graduated and are now going to good colleges. Teachers are good and effective, students are nice and welcoming. The school challenged their academic abilities and helped them greatly.

Posted by a parent on 12/31/2019My wife and I send both of our children to Parkway North and have found there experience to be excellent. Both are well adjusted, socially responsible adults. We found them well prepared and as a result excelled in challenging fields at challenging top universities with advanced degrees which one child finishing doctorate work in the STEM field. North was able to provide them the foundation, faculty support, and resources to push themselves in athletics and in academics.
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2019My wife and I have put 3 kids through Parkway North. They have all had wonderful experiences and have all gone on to great colleges and careers. One went to a highly selective college and now has a PhD. The second went to an Ivy. The Ivy kid is profoundly deaf and was treated with great respect and support at PNHS, enabling him to achieve to his full potential. Both kids found themselves unusually well prepared for college, academically. The third child decided not to go to college and may become the most successful of the three, in part because of the tremendous school support for his talents and interests. One fantastic part of PNHS' philosophy is their support for planning and preparing for post-high school. In addition to a dedicated college counselor, PNHS started a unique and highly effective, volunteer, college mentoring program which helps students find their "ideal" post-high school program. Their solid college counseling is the envy of many other schools (the volunteer mentoring program is spreading across St Louis), and is strongly supported by PNHS administration. Another excellent part of the PNHS philosophy is their strong support for - and constant interaction with - parents. If you're willing to work with the administration and teachers (as opposed to simply complaining), they will go to fantastic lengths to work with you and accommodate student needs. This philosophy starts with the principal and goes all the way down the chain. Everyone is on the same page.A third, tremendous aspect of the PNHS philosophy is its embrace of diversity. Whether it's racial, special needs or any other aspect of diversity, PNHS both includes and embraces it. Our kids learned a level of tolerance and inclusiveness that outstrips most other West County high schools. We have friends in most of the other West County schools and districts and wouldn't trade our kids' experiences for any other school.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's been four years since my family left this school, and we still suffer from what I can only describe as PTSD. There are many good Christian schools around - but not this one! Bullying, unfair treatment, incompetent leadership, misdiagnoses, and more. Run run run away.Parent Review1y ago - Andrews Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile Andrews has many great qualities, such as their arts program, music, and lauded public speaking, it is, at heart, a mill for students' expected matriculation towards the more expensive private schools in the area. If your child is a "square peg", they will not fit in here, and no attempts will be made to help them understand that their uniqueness is a strength, and not a weakness.Parent Review7mo ago - Countryside Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRossman has provided our family with the best educational, social, and developmental environment we could imagine for our child. The speed at which he has learned new concepts, his ability to think critically and problem solve, his interest in various cultures and topics, and perhaps most importantly - his self confidence - has been taken to a level far beyond his peers at other schools. Teachers are invested and actually seem to enjoy their jobs. The other children are the type of kind, considerate kids with whom we want our child to become friends, and their families are equally as wonderful. We are confident that in choosing Rossman, we are giving our son the best possible educational and developmental foundation.Parent Review1mo ago - St. Monica Elementary School
