Posted by a parent on 2/11/2024The newly appointed principal is extremely immature and passive aggressive. If parents suggest improvements or offer feedback he gets defensive and takes the feedback personally. After making a suggestion about safety issues, the new principal retaliated and removed me from the parent email list. I would expect such immature behavior and problem solving skills from a middle schooler, not the school principal.
Posted by a parent on 11/5/2021Muir Middle School is an amazing school. Their staff welcome all kids with open arms and do everything possible to make them successful students and members of society. I’m disappointed with greatschools.org for rating them as low as they do. The academic success far exceeds the state average, yet they rate them low for diversity, which is something the school has no control over.

I can't say enough about the caring teachers and the individualized education they receive. His loving teachers have taught him to respect others and his own space. They are dedicated to motivating him and giving him the confidence to succeed.
