My experience isn’t as flowery as the majority of the reviews posted on ANY site. I just don’t think this school is like a magical school where every kid learns perfectly and gets super high test scores based solely on the teachings that they get at the school. If you look at the percentages of high income vs low income all the pieces make sense. If children struggle with what they learn in class the majority of the students have parents who can afford tutors or other avenues for learning OUTSIDE of the class room. Where as the lower income families don’t have those things as options. So the lower income families fall through the holes, at least in my experience. I have to teach my child at home for hours sometimes just to help my child understand certain things. This school likes to push kids along even if they aren’t ready to move along just to keep up with state standards. So this school gets the same ratings I would give any public school in the surrounding counties.
