Read what parents are saying about Patapsco High & Center For ArtsI say a 9/10. I love all my classes and my teachers. I'm a member of the Literary Magnet at this school and I love the inclusiveness. Even though I don't have time for the multiple clubs that Patapsco offers, my magnet makes up for it.
Posted by a student on 4/26/2020The teachers are very passionate about their subjects. Being apart of the magnet program was one of the best choices I made. It was fun, challenging, and really pushed me to refine my talents.
Posted by a community member on 10/27/2019In Patapsco every teacher cares for every student. Mr.McComb just won national teacher of the year. That's got to say something. The locker issue isn't a issue, they give each and every student a chance to get a locker that they will have for 4 years, if you don't take the opportunity it isn't their fault. They have great AP and Magnet programs. They are one of the few schools in Maryland to offer an AP class to freshman. As a current sophomore student who has taken AP as a freshman and now as sophomore , I get to see how challenging and rewarding AP is . I am also a member of their AVID program. The best way to describe AVID is like a family. Everyone is there for each other and is trying to help each other out. Patapsco has also just adopted the new FLEX lunch / free time. This give students the ability to get a break from classes. Take apart in clubs and groups that they might not have been able to because they ride a bus. FLEX is an hour where the students have time to study, do homework, talk with friends, join clubs, and/ or eat. I love my school. There`s never been a time that I doubted Patapsco.

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was reading past reviews of this school and they were mostly based on the old school building which was demolished and a new one was just built a few years ago along with newer younger staff. My son is special needs and he loves this school, always happy and excited to go and see his friends and teachers. The new Dundalk Elementary is gorgeous, all high tech and very clean. My son has been progressing a great deal thanks to its great teachers and counselors who care deeply about his education and well being. The reviews of this school should be revised because they do not reflect the actual progress.Parent Review1y ago - Grange Elementary School
