Posted by a community member on 1/2/2024Went here for an event and was shocked that they would host anything as filthy as their restrooms were. 5pm is certainly enough time to have maintenance come through to gather the trash - and at minimum - refill the soap dispensers. Food containers in the toilets and sinks. Outside looking in beautiful! Get in TRASH!
Posted by a parent on 10/26/2022Brand new school that our son attends. The teachers are dedicated. The curriculum is also strong. History and Literature are particularly strong. Math is excellent for my child who never liked math previously but now does. Would highly recommend this school.
Posted by a parent on 8/16/2022I personally think the school system itself is messed up so I dont think this school is any better than the system its forced to follow. It's time for change and school never does that. We need to do more than babysit students.

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a teacher at Highlandtown 237, and I find that working here is a positive and rewarding experience. The teachers are excellent, and that's a testament to the hiring ability of the administration. School leaders are very open and honest with the staff, and there is a genuine sense of caring and a friendly professional relationship in the building. Most students are willing and eager to learn, and I've enjoyed being a part of this community. 1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was reading past reviews of this school and they were mostly based on the old school building which was demolished and a new one was just built a few years ago along with newer younger staff. My son is special needs and he loves this school, always happy and excited to go and see his friends and teachers. The new Dundalk Elementary is gorgeous, all high tech and very clean. My son has been progressing a great deal thanks to its great teachers and counselors who care deeply about his education and well being.
