Ashburton ES is an all around school. In our experience, teachers are all dedicated, knowledgeable , and are very passionate about their students. School admins are very engaging and helpful. Ashburton has one of the best PTAs in the DMV region with tons of programs throughout the year and which offers amazing volunteering opportunities. Last but not least the school building is recently renovated and its facilities are updated to the best standards. My son loves playing in school playgrounds during recess or to checkout books from vast collection of books in the school media center.

My daughter has been at Bradley Hills and it is excellent. The teachers are consistently good and the administration is warm and supportive. There is a great school community and a culture of inclusivity.

Kensington Parkwood is a diverse, vibrant, and flourishing community where children have the opportunity to receive world-class education with cutting edge curriculum from teachers who are dedicated and talented. The school has strong leadership from an outstanding and positive Principal. You will often see her at pickups and dropoffs and whenever there is a need for community engagement, she is out front and taking feedback. She is flanked by an incredible staff who seem able to teach the entire spectrum from children in need of special attention to the gifted program. The library is strong. The counselors are strong. The front office is strong. Security team is strong.I have not yet met a parent who was dissatisfied with the school. Our son is in 5th grade and our daughter in 3rd and we've been with the school all the way! In fact, this satisfaction is in part driven by strong parent engagement with the school. The PTA is motivated, helping to help with all kinds of extras from a running club to environmental programs (composting, campus clean-ups, and fun school gatherings to name a couple).The student body is diverse. Many ethnic backgrounds are well-represented as well as well as families come from around the world. The school hosts an international night and the sheer number of countries represented by flags of the world is staggering and inspiring. It seems there is a place for everyone.The building is beautiful with lots of windows and many recent renovations that have modernized it.

There’s no mental support for children. Teachers have anger issues and treat children differently especially the girls. The principal still thinks it’s the 1800’s.

I have to go to this school because my parents want me to. School sucks. There is too much homework, and teachers don't care to help. Bullying is common, and reporting gets you in trouble. I can not wait to get out of this school. I used to be a happy person until my parents put me in this school.
