Read what parents are saying about Elmwood Park AcademyI like it. I feel my daughter is safe here. They are to caring and professionals. I never don't want to move my daughter
Posted by a parent on 5/4/2019My child presently attends Elmwood Park Academy. The faculty and office staff are always professional and so caring. My child attends Elmwood because of the advanced curriculum as well as knowing they will be cared for while I'm at work. When you pick up your child, do they say, "No, I want to stay longer, I don't want to go home!" This really makes you feel like you've made the right choice

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family had a terrible experience with this school. It has been many years since my faughters attended and I haven't commented as I hoped my feelings would mellow with time, but they have not. The school itself is poorly maintained, and the education is subpar. Still all of these things could possibly be overlooked or at least worked on to some degree if there was any compassion or interest from the majority of staff and administration to do better. There is not. Whatever you do, don't send your child here if they have any learning or behavioral challenges, or if they are individuals in ANY way. It in all seriousness took my adult daughter years to get past the treatment she received from adults she should have been able to turn to and trust at a very difficult time in her life. I fully understand that my child was a challenging one, but when you choose to work with children, that occasionally happens. I also appreciate that educators need to look out for the well being of others if an individual is disruptive, or even potentially harming others. Still, we are talking about a child here. One who was treated in such a hurtful, negligent and brutally unkind way, that more than 10 years later I am still appalled.Parent Review2y ago - Paul J. Solis Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school to any prospective educators. The interior of the school is outdated, the classrooms have decades of wear and tear in them, the playground equipment is not in good condition, and the basketball hoops are all broken. This school is a relic from the 20th century and it shows very badly.Other Review6mo ago - Stepping Stones Montessori

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have attended Arden Cahill since they were newborns, and now my oldest is entering Kindergarten. The teachers are engaging and supportive, and my child is excited about school and eager to learn. My youngest is still in the infant care center, and I do know they are struggling with staffing, but which organization isn't having a staffing issue? I understand there are challenges, but my child is content and always so happy to see the daycare staff. I'm excited to see what the new school year has to bring.Parent Review9mo ago - Christ The King School
