Read what parents are saying about Zachary Taylor Elementary SchoolThe teachers don't do much at all to teach the kids. My child was also a victim of race bullying and the school did Nothing to stop it. A group of 6 kids beat up my child on the playground and the teacher did nothing. After reporting this to the higher ups over and over Still nothing was done. And this was all cause she's white. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone!
Posted by a parent on 4/22/2015Both of my daughters have attended this school, I have seen many changes over the years. I have to say I have never seen a principal more passionate baout what he does for a living and that is spending his days with OUR children, the school has improved in so many areas I can not even scratch the surface on all of them, but the school and its staff strive for excellence, I am completely out of this cluster cannot obtain a bus stop for my daughter, but I dont mind driving out of the way for her, she and I couldnt imagine her anywhere else, the school is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have experience as a parent with 3 different children in 3 different elementary schools over the last ten years, both private and public. I love Chancey and feel blessed that my family gets to be a part of the community there. The communication between school and parents is fantastic and clear, and I can always get through to someone who cares when I need it. Every adult I have encountered in the building shows the utmost care to the children, calling them by name, and noticing them with encouragement, for positive things. My second grader is always happy to go to school, even when she’s having hard days. I know she feels supported by the adults around her and I do too. The activities and community events offered by Chancey are always well-attended, upbeat, and fun. We just really appreciate the warm environment that has been created at Chancey. I know that a welcoming and loving atmosphere is the foundation for successful learning. My child also excels academically thanks to her time at Chancey. She loves math and reading and is proud to show off what she has learned. Overall we have had a great experience with Chancey and would highly recommend. I’m looking forward to my next child attending as well.Parent Review6mo ago - Montessori School of Louisville

She has grown by leaps and bounds and her joy for learning is nurtured in the Montessori environment. We are grateful to have this school in our community and look forward to many more years.Parent Review8y ago - Triple Crown Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loved this school while he was attending. We thought we would be lifers here but things changed drastically. Here's a few pertinent things to note if considering this school:- You WILL be treated differently by administration if you're on financial aid. This means there is little to no tolerance for any mistakes, altercations, or disagreements with another student.- The claim that they accept everyone is a LIE. The administration has an elitist attitude and treat anyone who does not agree with their political and social stance as if they're a threat to their school. If you are conservative in your values, you will not have it easy with administration. They do not accept everyone and do not like when you stand up for what is right for your child.- Bullying is not resolved. If a family gives more money to the school than you or considered a school favorite, your child will continue to suffer while the other child receives no reprimand. It's awful to watch the favoritism there.- They do not communicate with you. They will tell you nothing about situations that may arise with your child and take their own course of action without involving you. There is no partnership - they want to raise your kid their way.All in all, there are other elite schools to consider. For 24k a year, not worth the headache. Spend it at Collegiate or other Catholic schools in the area. They're all a much more viable option for your child's development.Parent Review6mo ago - Islamic School Of Louisville
