Raymond Park Intermediate School (5-6)

The dress code policy sucks . Several teachers are homophobic. The seventh grade assistant principal shows bias twords straight cis people. They hardly deal with people being bullied I just don't recommend going here .

I get bullied a lot people tell me I stink.

Oof, Raymond Park Intermediate. I went to this school in the sixth grade, and the downstairs school 7-8th (review posted over there), and the Intermediate academy....oh boy. Parents, I'd personally recommend taking your kids elsewhere. The upstairs area (the IA) has issues with mold behind clocks/power outlets (some of which are exposed). I went there before some staff changes were made, so I can't comment on those besides that there are teachers there that will make your kid feel like dirt, and it's not fun. Sure, it's normal for kids to dread school, but here it's worse. They openly discriminate, as in, kids of certain races get off easier than others. They don't care about bullying, unless a parent comes in and they feel threatened.The dress code? Prepare to be spending ALOT of money. They won't even let kids have zippers, of fear someone will get hit with it! You gotta be uncomfortably close to someone to get hit with a jacket zipper. And hoodies to keep warm during the day? Nah, not allowed. Only Cosby sweaters are allowed. Teaching, it's okay. It's not the best, but not the worst. Depends on what teacher you have.Honestly, parents, from experience, look elsewhere from Raymond Park in general.

RAYMOND PARK IS A VERY CLEAN SCHOOL. THE TEACHERS ARE VERY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL! I FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY SON GOING TO RAYMOND PARK. I BELIEVE HE WILL RECEIVE A GREAT EDUCATION!
