Read what parents are saying about Evansville Lutheran SchoolOur daughter has been going here since kindergarten and has loved her experience, as do we. The small class sizes won me over. Her class is 13 this year I believe! Have absolutely loved the teachers, and the staff. Great place to send your kids to learn!
Posted by a parent on 9/5/2021The best school in Evansville! The principal, Mr. Shull, is great with all the kids and knows them all by name. I moved my daughter there after she fell through the cracks in public schools do to her quiet personality and oversized classes. It was the best thing I have ever done for my child. I only wish ELS went threw high school but I'm thankful for what the teachers have done to help her thus far.
Posted by a parent on 11/4/2013This school is good but leaves much to be desired. All children are required to read at one level. My children are extrememly bored and made to do busy work to fill their day.
Posted by a parent on 1/25/2012Excellent school. Christian education by outstanding teachers. Top ISTEP scores. Using lots of technology with the kids. Learning in a loving atmosphere. The kids have a chapel service every Wed at 7:45- all grades together. Come and check it out for yourself. You will be sold from that moment on!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went here and he told me that he was getting bullied and when i called the teacher about it she had no clue what I was talking about. My son was able to make a video on his tablet while in class and there were no teacher standing there with them and he was just watching a cartoon. My child never has any homework, except the occasional spelling words. My son refused to go school because he was being bullied and the teachers were not doing anything about it. My son was sent into the bathroom with two other boys and one of the boys physically assaulted him., he came out with a bruised lip and eye, when I called the teacher she had no clue what I was talking about. Would not recommend to send your child here. Not safe for some children of color.Parent Review2y ago - Evans School
