I graduated from this school a while ago but I know that Regina was one of the best educations I will ever be getting. My younger sister is currently going here and when we were asked by our parents if we would consider transferring to a nearby public school and she said no before our parents could finish throwing that idea. Regina not only provides each of us with a faith based education, but everyone there looks out for each other and supports each other. You also get the opportunity to do more than one activity while at Regina and those involved with the activities are very accommodating with the schedules of each activity. I did basketball and track and right between both of them was the school musical and I never really felt like I had to chose. Regina is a great place to send your children if you want them to get one of the best educations around.

Absolutely the best decision we could've made for our children's education. We moved to Iowa City over a year ago, and it has been such a great experience with Regina. They have created this wholesome environment that I think is hard to find elsewhere, all of the teachers are caring and kind, and the kids are taught well how to treat each other and academically. When our child was a bit behind and struggling in some areas (pandemic...) they assigned a tutor who helped get them caught up quickly. They obviously take great care and pride in their academics, and I've seen amazing progress in both of my kids there in both academics and social skills. The parents are also very involved and invested, the school keeps parents informed and offers lots of volunteer opportunities. There is a perfect balance of religious education as well, not too much, not too little. My family couldn't be happier and highly recommend Regina to anyone without hesitation.

I withdrew my children from this school system. Academically it is poor, theology/religion seem to be side thoughts, incorporated to keep the name "Catholic" and charge tuition (which is rising). Today I see very little difference between this school system and many of the surrounding public schools (except for the cost of tuition$$). Families wanting a strong academic program and/or authentic Catholic education should go elsewhere.

When we moved to Iowa City we chose Regina because it was the only Catholic school in the area. Not knowing a lot about it, we have been overwhelmed by how welcoming the Regina community was to our family. We feel like we've been here forever & it's now home. The daily religion classes & weekly Masses are a wonderful compliment to academically challenging courses. If you are looking for a faith filled community, Christ is in the hallways at Regina!
